Ondrej (Kumquat)

Free Entry | Funktion One Soundsystem | Good Drinks & Vibes

This Easter season we definitively hunt eggs at Ondrej’s kumquats garden. Amongst delicious giveaways we will be delighted by a charismatic guest artist!

Fernando Cappelletti aka Cape comes from Rosario, the Argentinian harbor city, birthplace of producers such as Franco Cinelli, Nico Purman and Lucas Mari. He made his own path in the production camp with a long row of successful editions. Nowadays, Cape creates an interesting blend of house and techno with an out of boundaries approach.

Co-manager of SAVOR MUSIC with Jorge Savoretti, they prepare together the opening of Aurea new label with a first release of Federico Molinari (Oslo, Apollonia) and Martin Teysera (Herencia, Cynosure).

Cape will be releasing for Visionquest in June. Moreover a co-produced track for Blind Box, the underground vinyl records label of Julien Sandre and Konstress, will be edited soon. And a remix of Giuliano Lomonte (Point of View) was signed for the end of the year.

In the past, labels such as Airdrop and Esperanza boosted his Dj-ing career in Europe.
The springtime tour starts in Palma de Mallorca and we are glad that Zurich will be “touched for the very first time” by Cape’s hands on the decks.

Happy Easter, bunnies!

SODA TANZ is a project formed by the compositor Martin Teysera and the singer Miguel Dahbar.
The berliner summer of 2012, was the spark that detonated this project. Naturally the fusion of different rhythms and cadences opened to experimentation.

House, Funk, Soul, Techno and Jazz, are the influences to compose songs full of emotion and danceable dynamism.

The live show is set out from a provocative groove, combining rhythmic sequences, the integration of processed synthetisers and emotive organic vocals.

With only months of existence, they already take part of the Cynosure crew on difference events around the german capital.

Martin Teysera
Uruguayan producer based in Berlin, formerly part of the techno music dúo „Monoblock“ which rocked the best clubs of Europe during the minimal techno era.

Later he started his solo career using his own name, releasing a plethora of tracks of different genres, from Deep House at his own label „Herencia“ to Minimal Techno in „Archipel“ and Tech-Jazzy-House on Mike Shannon’s label „Cynosure„, showing a diversity on his compositions and a profound interest in experimenting with different genres and styles.

He already performed on clubs like WaterGate, Club der Visionaere, Fuse and in the legendary club Tresor Berlin.

Miguel Dahbar
Argentine singer and industrial designer, based in Berlin.

Inspired by the cumbia/indie fusion, led the „Blackbaby“ project as a songwriter and singer with drummer Santiago Di Giusto and guitarist Ignacio Andragnez.

Researching rhythms and congruence of latin and black music, in the German capital joins SLOWDISKO, a project ambient/disco created by Ale Castro, with appearances at Fusion Festival and Open airs in the European summer.
